The Crumbling International World Order and the Rise of our Southern Africa Promised Land

I give you three maps to show the exciting future ahead as world Babylon hegemony collapses. The coming fractured word order will be the new platform for world wide Kingdom growth.

Last blog I introduced you the struggle of the ages that scripture characterizes as Mystery Babylon that rules over nations and the New Jerusalem destined to heal the nations.

I want to give you an analysis of our present world order that is now going through a transition of the ages. The fall of the West and its international rules based order of world hegemony through arms and the dollar based international economy. And a new fracturing of nations coalesced into competing power blocks.

The template for my analysis is from scripture. Israel captured by Nebuchadnezzar and serving Babylon. But Babylon falling to a new empire where Israel could rebuild Zion.

My point is this: We are not in the eschatological "end times" of popular prophecy. We are at the end times of Mystery Babylon of the age and the rise of a new world order where we can rebuild Zion as a platform to heal the nations we have been placed among.

Let me give you two maps to give you the scriptural template for this shifting of empires and the nation of Israel. This should tell you something about how the Lord organizes world affairs to achieve His ends and how the Lord places His people in strategic places of the world to carry out the mandate of "go into all the world".

Map 1 The empire of Nebuchadnezzar where Israel was exiled to:

Notice two important points.
- God has placed his people in Jerusalem at the crossroads of world trade between east and west and north and south. With the temple as a place for all people in the empire to be able to come and bring sacrifices and pray.
- Have a look at the prophecies the Lord gave Abraham about the Promised Land. They would inherit the land between the river Euphrates and the Nile of Egypt. And his seed would be like the stars of heaven in multitude. Now look at the Babylonian empire map. It stretches from the Euphrates to the Nile. If the Israelites had followed the ways of the Lord they could have converted the people from pagan Babylonians to observant Yahweh believing Jews. There was no need for war and conquest.

Here some observations about this new world order after the fall of Babylon that I want to apply to the emerging new world order of 2026.

King Cyrus was personally prophesied as God's servant by Isaiah 45. Cyrus released the Israelites and helped and paid for the refugees to return and resettle Judea. King Darius and king Ahesuares paid for the construction of the New Temple and authorized the home rule for the Jews with a governor and Israel to worship and run Jerusalem according to their laws.

The Persian empire was identified by historians as the world's first true empire with for its time very successful political and economic laws.

They has a system of rule of law where even the emperor was subject to law.
They had a system of money coins, weights and measures, an empire connected by a great road system.
They divided the nation into 120 provinces with locals as political participants.
There was safety of travel all over the empire, prosperous trade, fair taxation.

All of this by the way because Daniel was Prime Minister under Darius.

It meant that with Ezra's reforms of the Temple and priesthood and the publishing and teaching of the Torah laws, for hundreds of years priests could travel across the empire and set up what later became known as "Synagogues". In queen Esther's time scripture says many Persians converted to become Jews.

"In every province and in every city, wherever the edict of the king went, there was joy and gladness among the Jews, with feasting and celebrating. And many people of other nationalities became Jews because fear of the Jews had seized them." — Esther 8:17 (NIV)

My point: The fall of Babylon means the rise of a new world order where the people of God can prosper! That is God's template for our encouragement. Not end times gloom and doom!

In Revelation 17 we see a whore (Mystery Babylon) riding a beast (a multi-headed, horned beast) the beast is the multitude of people and nations:
"17 The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. 16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled"

Here is what it is saying. There is a great city Babylon (the Whore) that rules over the peoples and nations. She rules by money, arms and corruption. Then God gives the subdued nations the authority and right to rebel and overthrow the world system into new economic and political blocks all over the world.

I identify the last 80 years have been ruled by Pax Americana. It has been good for the world until it was no longer good. The America of post 1945 was great missions sending nation, stable economy, sound, money, moral standards of no abortion, no public pornography, no gay marriages. But the last 40 years everything has changed.

America has become an economic predator, a center for drug and pornography corruption. An arms exporter and exporter of armed conflicts bombing nations all over the world. And I include Europe in this moral economic corruption as partner to the American/West world order.

That American-EU "rules based world order" is coming to an end.

Strangely enough president Trump is probably the chief architect of bringing down the American world hegemony. The evangelical church years ago when he ran for president in 2016 already identified him as God's "Cyrus". Because of his support for Israel. Netanyahu even presented Trump with a commemorative coin with the image of Cyrus on one side and Trump on the other side.

The missed irony is this: God raised up Cyrus also to bring down Babylon. And president Trump is well on his way to destroying the "New World Order" of American hegemony with his "America First" policy. (Tariffs and economic war on allies)

He is pulling America out of "policeman of the world". He is withdrawing America to control of the Western Hemisphere of North and South America - a return to the Monroe Doctrine of America's 5th president. meaning everyone stay out of our backyard.

Not only that, by way of example this last week Trump administration withdrew America from 66 international organizations.

The world is fractioning into a number of different power blocks as America retreats to the Western Hemisphere. If I would apply the image in Revelation with 7 heads of the world beast turning on America to dislodge her international hegemony I could name 7 great national powers:
- China
- Russia
-The EU
- India
- Japan and Asean Nations
- The Muslim/Arab world
- The UK and the English block.

Oh and by the way the Beast apart from 7 heads also had 10 crowns. Meaning there are power centers in the world unrelated to classic national boundaries. For instance the power of the Vatican and their Jesuit storm troopers. I will not here identify other behind the scenes power players. But you get the idea.

There is a power struggle among these groupings over money, international banking, natural resources, world markets. ideologies, information, technology.

There is a concerted attack on the US dollar by all of them. Why? There is $350 trillion of dollar denominated debt by nations and corporations. It will never be repaid. Because the world economy is under duress. At some point it will either be destroyed through money printing inflation or just mass cascading debt default.

The world economy is based on endless growth in a world of finite resources and dwindling populations. All industrial nations are in a depopulation death spiral.

Now notice that nowhere in these world power blocks is Africa mentioned. Which brings up a new map for you to consider: Our Southern Africa Promised Land

Africa is despised by the world. Remember this: Nations do not have friends, but they do have interests. Don't kid yourself, we in Africa or Southern Africa have no international friends. We need to be "non-aligned" and defend and promote our own "Africa first" interests.

Every power block in the word sees us as a continent to be raped and exploited. Our minerals to be mined out of the ground and exported unprocessed by cheap Africa labour and approved by corrupt and bought out politicians.

Our seas are being vacuumed of our fish stocks to feed other nations. Our oil and agriculture sent to foreign lands. There are no plans for Africa's industrialization and we will be imposed with zero carbon emissions and sent back to primitive bush societies while industrial nations get to pollute the earth for endless growth.

Have a look at that map and recognize what needs to be done. What Daniel did as Prime Minister of Persia we need to do for Southern Africa.

We need to create a new empire of the Kingdom of God where families can grow and people can be safe. We need to declare ourselves as a Christian civilization. That is because we are the majority in every nations.
- we need to have single law across al countries that secures freedom of speech, the right to property and the rule of law,
- we need to devolve political power and administration away from central government to regional popultions.
- we need proper infrastructure investments in roads, energy, transport, ports,
- we need our own basic industries that supply our manufacturers with steel, chemicals, capital goods, oil and coal.
- we need a combined arm forces with a navy that patrols our seas an keeps our fish resources from plunder.
- we need one strong and sound currency and money system across all our nations in the SADC that is run by an independent Central Bank that prevents the debasement of inflation by politicians who know nothing about economics.
- we need social infrastructure of schools, universities, hospitals and clinics.
- national technology infrastructure of fast internet and data centres and AI available for commerce and education.

I can go on but you get the idea.
Now here is my prediction: The church will not get this vision of the end of Babylon and the promise of building New Jerusalem's across the cities of Southern Africa until the following tragedy recorded in the Psalms:

It is one of the most famous and poignant laments in the Old Testament, written from the perspective of the Jewish people during their exile in Babylon after the destruction of Jerusalem in 586 BCE.
Psalm 137:1–2: "By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof."

When Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed in 586 BC they lost all hope of an Israel empire. They cried by the rivers of Babylon. They did not realize that God had a great future planned for them in a New Jerusalem in the midst of a Persian empire where they could prosper and be a witness to the world.

It will take the destruction of modern day Israel for the Church to realize that there is no Jewish nation state in the Middle East that will bring in the Kingdom of God on earth. This is not the end times for the escape of the church and rise of an Antichrist world government.

This is the time for Babylon to fall to make room for the spread of the Kingdom of God. God has given us a Promised Land for the church in new international power blocks where we can all prosper and be witness to the nations.

We in Southern Africa need to be planning for that bright future in making our own part of planet earth into our Promised Land.
